EMPLOYEES AT PLEXUS KELSO RAISE OVER £6000 FOR CHILDREN’S WARD

Employees of Plexus in Kelso have raised an incredible £6405 for the Children’s Ward at the Borders General Hospital. Following a successful years fundraising which included raffles at a summer barbeque and at the Christmas party, Fundraising Manager Clare Oliver gratefully accepted a cheque from Willie MacKinnon, Vice-President Customer Management, EMEA.  Commenting on the donation Willie said; “Each year employees are asked to nominate a charity and we were delighted when the children’s ward was selected as the beneficiary of our fundraising efforts for 2011. Plexus matched pound for pound every penny that was raised by employees and we are delighted to be handing over such a significant sum of money”.

Libby and Heather Run 5K!

Congratulations to Libby Kennedy and her daughter Heather who ran the Edinburgh 5k on 4th December 2011 to support the Margaret Kerr Unit Appeal and raised the fantastic sum of £481.50!
