On Tuesday 5th December 2023, we held a brief ceremony to switch on the lights of our special tree. After an initial welcome from our Trustee Chair, Karen Hamilton it was two members of the Major Trauma Team, Sarah & Louise, who did the honours having recently been finalists at the Scottish Health Awards. The Health in Harmony Choir then gave a performance of Noel Nouvelet before leading everyone in a couple of carols. Finally everyone was invited for refreshments within the Chaplaincy Centre.

The Difference wish to thank Karen Hamilton, NHS Borders Estates Team, the Health in Harmony Choir, Sarah & Louise from the Major Trauma Team, Borders Hospital Radio Service, the “Crafy Dafties”, NHS Borders Catering Team & Chaplaincy Centre, and of course everyone who came along on the evening or who has dedicated a light this year.
