Without you, our incredible donors and fantastic fundraisers, we would not be able to help enhance the care and experience of our patients and their families, or look after NHS Borders staff, in the way that we do.  However you wish to support us, we will be here to help every step of the way.

If you are a UK tax payer, Gift Aid can boost your donation by an additional 25%, turning a £20 donation into £25 at no extra cost to you (Please note we can only claim Gift Aid on personal donations, and not from raffles/collections etc.)

If you choose to donate online you will be offered a Gift Aid declaration as part of this process however should you wish to donate by cheque, or to provide a declaration for a previous donation, then please use the downloadable forms below.

This declaration allows us to claim Gift Aid on your current donation only.

This declaration allows us to claim Gift Aid on any donation you have made in the last four years and any you will make in future.

Cheques should be made payable to Borders Health Board Endowment Funds or ‘BHBEF.’ This is our registered charity name with OSCR and the name our bank account is in.

You are welcome to let us know if you wish for your donation to go to support a service or patient group within
NHS Borders, and we will do our best to match your request to the most suitable area of work.

Please send cheques to:
Fundraising Office, Education Centre
Borders General Hospital
Melrose
TD6 9BS.

If you would like to use a bank transfer to make you donation then we ask you to fill in our short form giving us the details of your donation so we can look out for this hitting our account and we can allocate it accordingly.

Once you submit this form you will recieve an email containing our bank details in order to make the payment.

If you have our bank details from a previous donation and have recently donated again this way then we would also ask you to complete the form to help us identify and allocate your gift.
